ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Ohio State Women's Club ice hockey team was founded in 1992, making it one of the oldest women's club hockey programs in the country.
In 1996, Ohio State would become a founding member of the CCWHA (Central Collegiate Women's Hockey Association). The CCWHA is the oldest and longest running conference in women's club hockey. Ohio State, along with the rest of the conference, would join the American Collegiate Hockey Association in 2000.

In 1997, the CCWHA held its first ever conference championship tournament. The Ohio State University would go on to win the first 3 tournaments (1997, '98, '99) and later added a fourth championship in 2007.

Now entering its 33rd consecutive year of operation, the team is looking forward to continuously developing our players and program with an aim to become a national championship contender.
